I had a great experience with The Next Level Adventure during March 2024; I went on the Langtang trek with my mum and everything went smoothly. Pietro was a very attentive and enthusiastic point of contact for our trek and really helped to tailor the experience to our needs. He linked us to Nisha and Nima our guide and porter, who were also fantastic. Nisha is awesome – she is the first and youngest woman from her ethnic group to climb mount Everest and she was just a joy to trek with. She is interested in mental health + outdoor activities and so really considers each individual’s interests and wellbeing. I contact Pietro 10 days before arriving in Nepal without any idea of which treck to do combining the landscape, the price and my physical capacities.

He took the time to present us every treck options with the pros and cons and we finished to go for langtang.

My girlfriend and I did the Manaslu Circuit Trek with Next Level Adventures in November of 2023 (Nov 4-16). We couldn’t have been more pleased with the outcome, level of service, guide, logistical advice, and simplicity in trekking permits acquired by Next Level for us. This was our first time to Nepal, and although we both had trekking/hiking experience, we did not know the logistics of Nepal or the route we took (13 days Manaslu). After many phone calls with Pietro and his team generously lending their time, Pietro and team suggested we embark upon the Manaslu Circuit Trek. The suggestion was exactly what we were looking for: a two week, teahouse trek largely off the beaten path in Nepal. Pietro and his team seamlessly put together a great itinerary for Manaslu after hearing our logistics and time constraints. They helped us book a private Jeep to/from the tailhead (Machakolagon/ Dharmasala) instead of using buses, I highly recommend if it is in your budget. They organized our permits, gave us suggestions on KTM, all-inclusive packing list, logistics on teahouses on our specific route, a robust day by day guide including sights and suggestions along the route. Our guide (Neema) was incredibly positive, kind, and helped us significantly throughout the trek. We couldn’t recommend Neema enough. Upon feeling slightly sick on the Pass day due to food, Neema carried our bag to start the day, significantly helping us across the challenging Pass. She was very observant as to our pace, ability, and made sure we finished each day safe and sound. Overall, I would highly recommend Pietro/Neema to folks looking for a well organized, efficient, knowledgeable, and safe trekking experience in Nepal! Very recently we had the chance to meet Pietro and the “Next Level adventure” crew in Nepal. The team helped us in organising a 12 days trek in the Everest Region, from Ramechaap to Gokyo Ri and Renjola Pass. The journey has been fantastic not only because of the beauties of the region but especially for the outstanding guidance and service provided by our guide for the trek, Dawa and Bikram. The 4 of us were like a team or even a family during the trip, and this is smtg so beautiful.

This was my first ever trek in Nepal. My wife had used Phunuru Sherpa before for a trek to Anapurna base camp in 2019 and raved about how good he was at that time.

I must say Phunu was an amazing Sherpa guide and host.

He ensured everything went smoothly from pick up to final drop off at the airport, hotel stay, sightseeing in Kathmandu and of course the trekking.Due to weather conditions our plans for our trek changed several times.

We did not have to worry about anything. Phenu would discuss the situation with us, listen to our wants then give us options . Then when agreed on what option to take, would work behind the scenes to make sure all arrangements were made from transport, tea house accommodation and flights

He was so attentive to our needs and ensured every thing in his power to make our trek enjoyable, safe and as smooth running as could be. His knowledge of the history, culture and trekking routes of the region was invaluable. He saved us time and money on many occasions.

It became obvious to me during the trek the advantage of having such an experienced Sherpa with extensive contact through out the trekking region.

We always had the best tea houses on the route and he was able at short notice to rearrange our accommodation, transport as our plans changed.

Phunu speaks english very well and has a great sense of humour. He is very humble person.

I first visited Nepal in 2019 with a friend and trekked Annapurna Base Camp with Phunu as our Sherpa. Phunu was everything you could ever have wanted for a guide, and more. When I decided I wanted to return to Nepal and trek Everest Base Camp, there was no doubt in my mind of who I would want as my Sherpa. From the time he greeted us at the airport, to when he dropped us off at the airport, he was attentive, informative and just knew exactly what you needed and when. We had to change our itinerary at short notice due to weather, and he was immediately re-arranging our whole trip without any hesitation and provided honest advice on what would work for us (my husband travelled with me this time for his first trek). He went above and beyond our expectations.

I highly recommend Phunu as a guide, and will be engaging his services again when we visit for another trek. There is always another trek to do in Nepal!
